OpenCL GPU tercepat Februari 2021 untuk proses software editing

OpenCL

Sistem OpenCL digunakan software dengan kinerja CPU dibantu dengan GPU.
Termasuk komputasi dengan CUDA untuk GPU Nvidia, sebelumnya OpenCL di dominasi AMD Radeon dan internal graphic HD Intel

Kinerja GPU dapat dimanfaatkan oleh software Windows.
Tugas perhitungan software yang komplek tetap di tangani oleh CPU.
Sedangkan proses berulang yang lebih sederhana dapat di tangani GPU.

CPU menangani bagian komplek walau hanya memiliki 4 core, 6 core atau lebih besar.
Proses GPU dengan kalkulasi lebih ringan, tetapi jumlah unit core GPU jauh lebih banyak dari CPU.

Tugas yang dilakukan GPU seperti membantu rendering lebih cepat pada proses CAD, editing video, audio, webCL, komputasi sain dan lainnya.
Proses komputasi GPU juga membantu proses supercomputer, seperti Nvidia membuat GPU Tesla termasuk proses di datacenter.

Software grafik misalnya Adobe Photoshop, Capture One
Software CAD dan 3D, dari Autodesk Maya, Belnder, LuxRender, Houdini
Audio, video multimedia. Vegas Pro, DaVinci Resolve, x264, Final Cut Pro, HandBrake.
Komputasi sain. AMD Compute Lib clBlas, ArrayFire, Octopus, MDT
Dapat bekerja lebih cepat dengan dukungan GPU.

September 2020 lalu masuk VGA arsitek Ampere.


GeForce RTX seri 3000 menduduki posisi teratas untuk komputasi OpenCL.
Dan seperti angka CompuBench juga sudah terdaftar 7 September 2020.

Hasilnya secara positif sangat baik, GPU gaming RTX 3080 mencapai skor OpenCL 191.891.
43 % lebih cepat dari TITAN RTX (134.369).
46 % lebih cepat dari GeForce RTX 2080 Ti (131.494)
74 % lebih cepat dari GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER (110.399)
86 % lebih baik daripada  GeForce RTX 2080 (102.969).

Menurut 3D Center, yang menyediakan daftar perbandingan ini.
Skor OpenCL untuk GeForce RTX 3080 diterjemahkan setara 29,77 TFlop untuk komputasi FP32 (32-bit floating point).

NVIDIA telah mengonfirmasi multiprosesor streaming seri RTX 30 menyediakan throughput 2x lipat untuk kinerja operasi tersebut.
Setidaknya kinerja GPU ditingkatkan dengan jumlah lebih banyak CUDA unit

Kinerja komputasi tidak selalu sama dengan kinerja gaming.
Tetapi seri GeForce RTX 30 tampak terlihat lebih baik.
Tertarik mengunakan GPU Nvidia seri RTX 3000, khususnya untuk pengolahan aplikasi. Satu uni GeForce RTX 3080 Founders Edition tampil 17 September seharga $ 699.
